A mushroom has two parts: the mycelium (the root network) and the fruiting body (the mushroom itself). Most mushroom coffees use mycelium grown on grain, which means much of the powder is, structurally, grain. We extract only the fruiting body. It costs more per kilogram. It is also the part the published research is about.
02
Each mushroom is hot-water extracted, dried, and weighed into the blend at the exact amounts on the placard above. There is no proprietary blend to hide behind — the label is the recipe.
03
The spec placard on this page is the same one on the front of the bag, at the same sizes. If a number ever changes, both change together.
One number: 95mg of caffeine instead of 48mg. The mushroom stack is identical, at identical doses. That's the entire difference, which is why we can say it in two sentences.
Because that is the information you are buying. Everything else on a package is persuasion; the doses are the product. We put them where persuasion usually goes.
Like a smooth, slightly earthy version of its base — coffee, matcha, or cacao. The extracts are a background note, not a flavor project. No sweeteners, so it tastes like what it is.
